One day after the dominating pitching performance of Shemar Page, the Grambling State University baseball team’s offense took front and center as the Tigers exploded for 20 hits and cruised to a 25-3 Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) win in seven innings over Alcorn State on Saturday afternoon at Wilbert Ellis Field at R.W.E. Jones Park.

Grambling State (17-21 overall, 12-5 SWAC) led 9-2 after two innings and exploded for 12 runs in the fifth inning in winning its 12th straight over the Braves, which dates back to the 2017 season. The Tigers racked up 20 hits, including eight extra base hits, with home runs by John Garcia and Cameron Bufford
