Italian Basketball announces World Cup qualifier and EuroBasket roster

The Italian Basketball announced their preliminary roster for 2022 EuroBasket and 2023 World Cup qualifiers ( August 24 versus Ukraine and August 27 versus Georgia). NBA fans will recocgnize the new Boston Celtic forward Danilo Galiinari as part of the Italian squad.

The 17 players will participated in an upcoming training camp that will take place on August 3-10.

The Italian National team will take part in two exhibition games against France. They along with Serbia, Germany and Czech Republic will play in the Hamburg Tournament that will happen prior to the first two World Cup Qualifiers and EuroBasket.
