It was speculated earlier in the week that the Suns were reportedly listening to offers on all-world forward Kevin Durant. Additionally, it was rumored that the Golden State Warriors were allegedly quite interested in adding Durant to their tanks once more. However, according to ESPN’s Brian Windhordst on the network’s “NBA Today” show, ”understanding scenarios can change, Kevin Durant will likely either remain on the Phoenix Suns or be traded to the Miami Heat by tomorrow afternoon and added there is only one untouchable player in Phoenix. “Everyone on the Phoenix [Suns roster], multiple people have told me, everyone is available except Devin Booker.”
Durant’s wishes to not spin the block with the Warriors was also reported by Shams Charania, saying “The Warriors have been seriously pursuing Kevin Durant over the last week, but sources tell me that Durant has no desire in a reunion with the Warriors. He does not want to go back to the Warriors.”
KD spent three seasons with the Warriors from 2016-17 to 2018-19, helping the team win two titles with Durant winning Finals MVP in both years. This season with the Suns KD is 26.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 4.2 assists on very efficient .524/.398/.827 splits.
