The domicile of Los Angeles Lakers all-world baller Lebron James was amongst celebrity residences on a list of homes targeted by Southern California burglars.
Most recently, Rihanna, Los Angeles Dodgers player Yasiel Puig and Los Angeles Rams wideout Robert Woods all have been burglary victims .
Monday, the Los Angeles Police Department released this press announcement:
During recent months, the Los Angeles Police Department has become aware of a series of residential burglaries targeting actors, producers, musicians and professional athletes living in the Los Angeles area. Initially, it was believed that the homes were being burglarized at random. Detectives learned, however, that this wasn’t the case. The victims’ homes had been selected based on social media posting, touring or travel schedules of the owners.
According to a report by TMZ Sports , Tuesday the LAPD confirmed that the Lakers’ superstar was on list of homes that were potentially to be burgled that actors Viola Davis and Matt Damon. The Los Angeles Police Department also announced it’d made four arrests- a 34-year-old woman, two 19-year-old men and an 18-year-old man- in connection to the burglaries of at least 24 homes.
