Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić is reportedly facing a significant new development in his ongoing custody dispute with former fiancée Anamaria Goltes.
According to TMZ Sports, Goltes has filed a new legal claim in Slovenia seeking a total of $50 million as part of the custody and support proceedings. The report states that the filing includes $40 million for Goltes and $10 million related to the couple’s two daughters.
TMZ also reports that Goltes is seeking to reduce Dončić’s parenting time from at least two days per week to one day per week. The latest filing comes just days after she requested to dismiss her child support petition in California, stating that she hoped to resolve the matter “amicably and by mutual agreement.”
Dončić previously argued that Slovenia—not California—was the proper jurisdiction because the couple’s daughters reside there, and he has reportedly already initiated custody and support proceedings in the country. He is currently in Slovenia pursuing joint custody while preparing for the upcoming NBA season.
As of now, these are reported legal claims in an ongoing court matter. The requested financial amount and proposed custody changes have not been ruled on by a court, and Dončić’s legal team has not publicly responded to the latest filing.
