The Olympic Qualifying Tournaments are getting closer but the national team coaches are yet to make out their final rosters, and that includes Serbia.
Igor Kokoskov’s team features a few NBAers and, while Nemanja Bjelica confirmed that he will play, Nikola Jokic has yet to decide after the Nuggets playoff exit and Bogdan Bogdanovic is questionable too as his Atlanta Hawks are still in the playoffs.
Additionally, according to Mozzart Sport, Nikola Milutinov will skip the tournament as well to not risk any injuries since he recently returned from one while Miroslav Raduljica has had issues with a foot injury and is likely to be unavailable too.
However, all those names are expected to be ready for the Olympic Games if Serbia qualifies after the tournaments it hosts in Belgrade. They are in Group A with the Dominican Republic and the Philippines while in Group B await Italy, Puerto Rico, and Senegal.
The good news for Serbia, per the same report, is that Milos Teodosic, who with Virtus Bologna won the Italian championship, will join the squad already for the Acropolis Cup prior to the Qualifying Tournament.
