One of the most unique non-OG Air Jordan retros in recent memory may be arriving a little later than expected.
The “Miro” Air Jordan 7 “Miro” has been pushed back from its originally rumored June 27 return date, according to zsneakerheadz.
Originally introduced in 2008, the “Miro” Air Jordan 7 quickly became one of the more polarizing yet beloved lifestyle colorways in the Jordan archive. Inspired by the vibrant artwork and surrealist style associated with famed Spanish artist Joan Miró, the sneaker stood apart from traditional Air Jordan releases thanks to its loud color blocking and artistic detailing.

The upper features a white base accented by a chaotic mix of red, blue, yellow, green, and black overlays and graphic elements that give the sneaker an almost hand-painted aesthetic. Multicolored branding hits and abstract pattern work further separate the “Miro” from more conventional Air Jordan 7 designs.
While the shoe was not universally embraced upon its original release, it eventually developed a cult following among collectors who appreciated its creativity and rarity. Over the years, the “Miro” Air Jordan 7 has become one of the more difficult non-OG Air Jordan models to acquire on the secondary market, helping fuel anticipation for its long-rumored return.
The reported delay may disappoint some sneaker enthusiasts, but excitement surrounding the release remains high. Jordan Brand has increasingly leaned into nostalgia-driven retros in recent years, reviving coveted releases from the mid-2000s era that many longtime collectors either missed out on or no longer own.
