Devondrick Walker is the seventh new player for VEF Riga

VEF Riga has inked Devondrick Walker for the next season, the team announced Sunday.
Walker, 29, last played in the NBL, as a member of Hawke’s Bay Hawks. He registered 20.2 points, 4.9 rebounds, 4.1 assists, and 1.9 steals per contest.
The American swingman, after three G League seasons, moved his talents to Europe in 2018. Italian stops at Trieste and Brindisi, and Roanne in France generate his experience in the continent. He competed in the NBL the last couple of seasons.
Already added for VEF Riga, Ron Curry, Anrijs Miska, Quincy Ford, Ilja Gromovs, Maris Gulbis, and Jalen Riley. Also, Alexander Madsen, Kristers Zoriks, Artis Ate, and Emils Krumins have been retained.
The Latvian club is heading to the Basketball Champions League Regular Season Group D. AEK, Falco Szombathely and one more team surviving the qualifiers will be the teams to beat.
