Reyer Venezia has signed Greek forward Vassilis Charalampopoulos to a multi-year deal, the club officially announced Sunday.
Charalampopoulos, 24, spent the 2020-21 season with Olympiacos, where he averaged 2.5 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.5 assists in 7 minutes per game over 11 EuroLeague contests.
The forward will leave Greece for the first time in his career, after playing for Panathinaikos, PAOK and Lavrio before moving to Olympiacos. In Venezia, he will be reunited with former Panathinaikos teammate Michael Bramos.
Charalampopoulos has won two Greek League titles and three Greek Cups with the Greens, and also won gold with the Greek NT at the FIBA U18 European Championship in 2015 and FIBA U20 European Championship in 2017.
