Anthony Davis was one of the plethora of NBA players who began taking the court in Kobe Bryant sneakers, primarily the V and VI Protro, following the tragic and untimely death of the NBA in January 2020. However, since the release of the LeBron XX, the Lakers’ best player has primarily done his on-court work with the last three models from the LeBron series – the XX, XXI, and the XXII.
This PE for the NBA’s current leading scorer sports a ribbed deep turquoise upper adorned on the lateral side by a metallic purple Swoosh and more conventional yellow-bordered more conventional branding on the medial side. Purple also wraps the heel, joined by yellow piping and XXI branding.
A purple signature on the tongue completes an upper that resides atop a turquoise midsole, dipped in purple at the heel to coincide with the similarly colored section at the upper and a purple and yellow rubber outsole.
