The “Hornets” Air Jordan 9 wascreated as an exclusive colorway for the man himself, Michael Jordan in 2019 when NBA All-Star Weekend was held in Charlotte.
They sport a white leather upper overlaid with that of a supple-looking purple leather rand that also extends up the heel and collar. Hornets teal can be seen on the “AIR JORDAN” branding on the tongue, the global Jumpman logo on the rear heel, pull tab, and laces.
Purple also shows up at the inner, with white making additional appearances at the “23” at the heel and surrounding the global Jumpman logo.
Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a purple midsole and a Jumpman-branded white rubber outsole.
As these are a Player Exclusive, don’t anticipate a retail release, although we would not be against it should Jordan Brand pull an about-face and drop these.
