Just as was the case with the “Origin Story” Air Jordan 1, the “Spider Verse” Air Jordan 1 High OG is inspired by a Spider Man film, in this case the upcoming Across the Spider Verse that drops June 2 of this year.
It sports “Chicago” styled color blocking,, however the red section feature the reality distortions seen in the film. Black Swooshes adorn the sides , with the same hue showing up on the laces, collar and inner. The aesthetic of the upper is completed with “NIKE AIR” branding on the tongue and a Wings logo on the lateral ankle.
Underneath resides a sail midsole and a translucent red rubber outsole.
The “Spider Verse” Air Jordan 1 High OG is slated to debut May 20 at nike.com and select retail establishments; they will carry a 200 USD sticker price.
