The “Burgundy” Air Jordan 5 released back in 2006, a wonderful time in sneaker history when a person could reasonably expect to come away with their desired sneaker on release day. Seventeen years it will make its first return to a sneaker landscape that , unfortunately, resembles little of the time of its original release.
Like its 2006 forbear the 2023 iteration will feature a burgundy suede upper. Clear mesh side netting, silver tongue along, black and graphite Jumpmen seen on the tongue and rear heel, respectively complete an upper that sits atop a burgundy, speckled graphite accented midsole as well as a burgandy rubber outsole.
The “Burgundy” Air Jordan 5 ,as it currently stands, in scheduled to begin its second retail run September 9 at nike.com and select retail establishments; they will carry a 225 USD sticker price.
