A disturbing video released by the New York Police Department on Friday morning shows a teenage girl beaten by a group of youths.
The attack took place Thursday afternoon at approximately 4 :10 p.m. The video shows the group of teens jumping the young girl, repeatedly kicking and punching her. As she laid unconscious on the ground, one of the boys took the sneakers right off her feet.
She was also relieved of her cell phone and bank card, before the mob absconded in several different directions.
In a tweet, Department Chief Terence Monahan stated the NYPD needs “the help of every New Yorker so they can arrest those responsible.”
The teen victim was taken to Kings County Hospital, where she was treated for bruises and swelling on her face.
