Texas Southern defeats Alabama State in SWAC quarterfinals

Texas Southern’s on fire shooting in the second half to claim victory over Alabama State 90-76 and advance to the semifinals of the SWAC Men’s Basketball Tournamemt. The Tigers shot 65% from the floor in the deciding half and that proved to be too much for the Hornets. Alabama State inks deal with Adidas

Earlier today the Alabama State athletic department announced the university has entered into a five-year agreement with Adidas in which the company will be the official provider of footwear, apparel and accessories of the Hornets through the 2022-23 season.
