Couretsy of Dr. Earnest Brown, Albany State Athletics The Albany State Golden Rams lost (66-56) to the Morehouse Maroon Tigers on Saturday afternoon at the Forbes Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.  It was the Maroon Tigers second time defeating the Golden Rams this week. With the loss, the Golden Rams are now (6-15) overall and (6-9) in the SIAC while the Maroon Tigers improved to (10-8) overall and (7-6) in the SIAC.  Malik Parker was the lone Golden Ram in double figures.  Parker finished with 19 points in 28 minutes of action for Albany…

The Albany State men’s basketball team, (6-13 6-8 SIAC) had its three-game winning streak halted, and lost a chance to get back to .500 in conference play, by the Maroon Tigers of Morehouse College in closely contested 60-58 matchup Thursday night. It was a rough day at the Arena at West Campus for the Albany State Golden Rams women’s basketball team, as the Tigers of Benedict took it to the Golden Rams 81-60.
