Been Simmons could be back in Philadelphia sooner than it was assumed and not as a visiting player. According to a report from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, talks have progressed between the team and Simmons’ agent Rich Paul that could potentially have the disgruntled star back with the team as soon as this week. Ben Simmons agrees to max contract with the Sixers

Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers have agreed on a five-year, $170 million dollar maximum contract. The deal was confirmed to The Athletic’s Shams Charania by SImmons’ agent Rich Paul. The projected number 1 pick in the upcoming NBA draft, Ben Simmons announced today that he has signed an endorsement deal with Nike. He broke the news on the Twitter feed of Uninterrupted, LeBron James’ multimedia website. Simmons is also represented by Rich Paul who represents James as well. US team falls to World Select Squad at 2015 Nike Hoop Summit
