South Fulton, Georgia proclaims “Christion Abercrombie Day” In honour of injured TSU footballer

From the TSU News Service: NASHVILLE, Tenn. (TSU News Service) – The City of South Fulton, Georgia, has declared December 19 ‘Christion Abercrombie Day,’ in honor of injured Tennessee State University football player Christion Abercrombie. City Mayor William “Bill” Edwards recently made the proclamation during a ceremony at Westlake High School, where the TSU linebacker graduated. NCAA rules cause Christion Abercrombie gofundme to be taken down

We brought the unfortunate story of Tennessee State University linebacker Christion Abercrombie who collapsed on the sideline in the first half of the Tigers’ game against Vanderbilt. He has been in the hospital since then and there has been an outpouring of support from not only the TSU family but HBCU’s across the land.   Although insurance policies provided by TSU and the NCAA will cover Abercrombie’s medical expenses, a gofundme was launched by Tennessee State to help provide funds for Abercrombie’s family. Update on Christion Abercrombie

Yesterday we brought you the awful injury that befell Tennessee State linebacker Christion Abercrombie. He passed out on the sideline in the first half of the Tigers’ game against Vanderbilt. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Cneter for emergency surgery and has been ICU since then. TSU just released an update on Christion’s condition on their Instagram. Tennessee State University linebacker Christion Abercrombie in ICU following head injury

Late in the first half in their game against Vanderbilt Saturday ,Tennessee State linebacker Christion Abercrombie suffered a head injury and collapsed on the sideline. He was taken off the field on a stretcher  He was rushed to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where underwent emergency surgery.
