The former Golden State Warriors guard left a guaranteed 2 year, $5.2 million deal on the table to sign a non-guaranteed 2 year, 6 million deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers on December 28. The strange journey of Patrick McCaw and the Golden State Warriors has taken a new direction. ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports that McCaw is signing an offer sheet with the Cleveland Cavaliers today that is for two years and worth $6 million. The second year is non-guaranteed. Wojnarowski adds the Warriors are waiting the arrival of the signed offer sheet before the team decides to match or not. Tristran Thompson out two to four weeks with sprained foot

Cavaliers trade Kyle Korver to Jazz

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski the Cleveland Cavaliers traded veteran sharpshooter to the Utah Jazz in exchange for Alec Burks and two future second-round picks. Korver had been averaging 6.8 points in 15.7 minutes per contest while shooting 46.3 percent from three-point range.
