The Spanish Basketball Federation announced initial round of cuts from their preliminary roster. Miguel Salvo, Jonathan Barreiro, Alberto Diaz and Hector Alderte will not be moving forward as the team trimmed its roster down to 18 in front of the opening of home-and-home friendly matchups that began Tuesday , with trip to Athens, Greece. Greek national team cuts five players

Ahead of their friendly matchup against Spain on Tuesday, the Hellenic Basketball Federation announced the opening round of cuts from their training camp. Coach Dmitirs Itoudis let go Lefteris Mantzoukas, Omiros Netzipoglou, Girogos Tanoulis, Giogos Tsalmpouris. The Lithuanian basketball federation announced that Jonas Valančiūnas and Domantas Sabonis are now free to practice with the rest of the team. France will not include players or coaches signed to Russian or Belarusian teams on its national teams

France’s basketball federation has announced that any players or coaches who are have ties to clubs in Russia or Belarus will not be considered for participation for upcoming international competitions during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This mandate will also extend to the next summer Olympics, which are set to take place in Paris.
