Cadashia Collins was named the SWAC Freshman of the Year and landed on the first team, while pitcher Dacia Richardnabbed second-team honors. Collins, a freshman shortstop from Chattanooga, Tenn., had a breakout season and was one of the key contributors for Grambling State’s offense as a true freshman.
