We have been highlighting, in various stages of production, images of the upcoming Nike Ja 2. Yesterday Nike officially introduced the world as the sophomore sneaker of the Memphis Grizzlies star guard.  The advertisement captioned “When No One is Watching, I Get Up”, the still form which depicts a still of Morant flying through the air, presmably to bring down a thunderous dunk on a hapless defender. Another new colorway of the Ja 2

A new colorway the yet-to-be-released Nike Ja 2 has emerged.  It sports blue leather at its upper, underlaid at the toe with black mesh. On the majority of the medial side lives a patterned red mesh with a sculpted collar and black Swoosh.  The black Swoosh on the lateral side is surrounded by a near-concentric pattern, while under the ribbed white rear heel appears “12 AM.” Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a white midsole with a Ja logo on the rear heel, while on the medial side reads “Kaari”, “Teniya”,…

Ja Morant’s special edition Hall of Fame Ja 2

Ja Morant was recently inducted into the Murray State Hall of Fame Nike helped him do so in style, hooking him up with a special-editon iteration of his yet-to-be-released Ja 2. They appear to make use of a grey and light blue color palette with what looks like a claw scratch pattern spread throughtout the upper. Several “teaser” images of the upcoming Ja 2 recently came to light. Although none of them offer a complete visual of the sneaker, what can be seen is a partial shot of the lateral side of the white and black upper. This mismatched pair , something I’m a sucker for, features one outfitted in bright mandarin and its mate, vapor green. Ja branding appears on the tongues, lateral heel and insoles.
