Tennessee State’s JJ Holloman accepts Legacy Bowl invite

Tennessee State wide receiver JJ Holloman has accepted an invitation to take part in this year’s HBCU Legacy Bowl, according to a tweet from the game Friday afternoon. The Covington, Georgia native caught 33 passes for 353 yards and 1 touchdown in his lone season at Tennessee State. Prior to that , Holloman spent his first two collegiate seasons, 2017 and 2018, at the University of Georgia, being recruited as the #15 -ranked wide receiver in the nation. Tennessee State football announces team captains

Courtesy of Stephen Featherston, Assistant Director of Communications NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Tennessee State football program and head football coach Eddie George announced the 2022 team captains on Thursday afternoon. Leading the Tigers will be Gleson Sprewell, Davoan Hawkins, JJ Holloman, and Kaleb Mosley. The captains were selected by the Tiger players. Sprewell is a grad transfer from the University of Houston.
