The “Easter” colorway of the very popular Nike KD Iv is making its very anticipated return next month.  Official images of the upcoming version have emerged and what we see is a mint green fused upper with a more intense version of the hue standing at the ankle strap. Saturday night against the New Orleans Pelicans, Kevin Durant wore an iteration of his KD 18 inspired by the classic and controversial Air Bakin.  They sport a black mesh foundational layer, overlaid with red similar to that of the Bakin. Though it was the KD VI that Durant wore during his 2014 MVP campaign, Nike opted to use the very popular KD IV as the canvas for this themed sneaker.  It sports a white textured fused upper; a gold-bordered blue Swoosh appears on the ankle strap, while the same branding in white appears on the medial side. Made for the participants of the Nike Elite Youth Basketball league, they sport an eye-catching deep red upper paired with black at the Swooshes on the lateral and medial sides, as well as the KD logo on the tongue. The “Aunt Pearl” KD IV is an homage to KD’s beloved Aunt Pearl, who succumbed to lung cancer when Durant was just 11. According to dghoopskicks, a pair of Warriors-inspired Nike KD IV will debut in. 2025.  If the renderings are accurate, one pair is a royal blue-based featuring a fused upper with a gold strap. Though images have been circulating of the KD 17 for several weeks, the man himself, Kevin Durant took them to the court in Game 1 of the Suns opening round Western Conference playoff series.  They feature an-black aesthetic ( a possible wear test sample?) with the clear translucent KD logo on the tongue offering the only sibilance of visual variety.  A black midsole and matching rubber outsole completes the monochromatic look.  As it currently stands the KD 17 is planned to debut May 24 at nike.com and select retail venues.…
