As we head into the new month of February, it seems we will be greeted with a new colorway of the Kobe AD. This Kobe AD sports a military blue mesh upper with sunblush accenting and black detailing throughout said upper. Below sits a speckled white midsole and a translucent outsole. The “Military Blue” Kobe AD is set to release on February 1 at nike.com and select Nike Basketball retail locations. The sticker price is set at $140 USD. Nike releasing Kobe AD in Lakers colors

Nike is releasing two Lakers-esque colorways of the Kobe AD. The first pair is outfitted with a hyper grape upper on the lateral side split with university gold on the medial side, The midsole and outsole share this same color splitting. The branding on the upper, which include Kobe logos and his initials behind the tongue, are composed of university gold. Kobe A.D. “BHM” Now Available

The Kobe A.D is the latest addition to the collection of footwear Nike has released to commemorate and celebrate Black History Month ( and to a lesser extent, the NBA all star weekend). Like the other shoes in the collection, the AD makes use of a white black and gold color scheme, with a graphic patterned white up front, black wrapping up around the heel and gold branding rounding out this sneaker’s aesthetic.
