Lebron James’ presence on social media cannot be ignored. Often times lighthearted and fun and other times he clumsily attempts to navigate through certain approves social issues. One his most notable enjoyable is his Taco Tuesday post, something he has somewhat become synonymous with. As someone who does think with a ruling class mentality in some aspects, James sought to trademark the “Taco Tuesday “ phrase. According to Gerben Law Firm Founder, Josh Gerben, Lebron’s trademark application was denied , as it was deemed a “commonplace message.”

This LeBron 16 is outfitted in a white knitted upper with navy showing up on the tongue, heel and insole. Behind the heel overlay in an American flag. Friday on his Instagram, Lebron James provided a glimpse of the 17th model of his signature series. The sneaker shown was black and grey and sporting what appears to be a knitted build. A reversed jeweled Swoosh is located along the bottom heel right above the midsole, which is gray and black. This Lebron 16 low pays homage to Lebron James going number 1 overall to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2003 NBA Draft. This Lebron 16 sports an all-white textile upper with gold showing up on the Lebron branding on the tongue and on the “Nike Air” located on the heel. This LeBron 16 pays tribute to Martin, LeBron’s favorite 1990’s sitcom. Paying homage to the fifth season’s DVD cover and poster, this sneaker is outfitted in court purple upper with tour yellow accenting. The triangular pattern that wraps the lower heel is a clear nod to the “Martin” logo and the same can be said for the “NIKE” on the medial heel. At this juncture, there is no confirmed release date.
