Wizards send F Deni Avdija to Blazers in front of draft

The NBA Draft is set to begin later this evening, but the Washington Wizards didn’t wait until the festivities began to make a move. According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, and others, the Wizards have traded forward Deni Avdija to Th Portland Trail Blazers in exchange for Malcolm Brogdon, the 14th overall pick in tonight’s Draft and a 2029 pick. Malcolm Brogdon: “week-to-week” with torn quad

Indiana Pacers point guard Malcolm Brogdon has been listed week-to-week by the team with a torn left rectus femoris (quadriceps). The injury happened Wednesday night in the second quarter of the club’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks. Brogdon is averaging 16.3 points, 7.1 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game. In his absence Victor Oladipo may be on ball more, and Aaron Holiday may also see his minutes increase.

The free agent signing has played well for the Pacers, averaging 17.7 points, 4.4 rebounds and 7.4 assists per contest. T. J.
