Marcus Smart out against Raptors

From Scott Pollack of B/R: Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart has been ruled outfor Monday’s contest against the Toronto Raptorsbecause of a right thumb sprain. Coach Brad Stevens noted, per Celtics announcer Sean Grande, that Smart underwent a scan on his thumb. Although the thumb “didn’t look too bad,” the team has opted to take the safe route. Marcus Smart cleared of COVID-19

Boston Celtics guard Marcus Smart has been given a clean bill of health. Smart revealed the diagnosis in a tweet on Sunday. Back on March 19, Smart revealed that he had tested positive for the coronavirus. This bit of good news comes on the heels of the Utah Jazz announcing Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell and personnel were coronavirus-free.
