DeMarcus Cousins’ Quad Injury Diagnosed as Tear

According to reports from The Athletic and Stadium’s Shams Charania, the leg injury that Demarcus Cousins suffered last night in the Warriors’ shocking game 2 loss was a torn left quadriceps muscles. Charania also adds that Cousins and the team will see how the injury responds to two weeks of rehab since he does not need surgery before they will have to officially rule him out for the remainder of the playoffs. Nets forward Jared Dudley will miss game 2 of their first round Eastern Conference playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers, according to Shams Charania of the Athletic and Stadium. Andrew Joe Potter of the Score reports that Dudley has been dealing with tightness in his right calf since their Game 1 victory Saturday.
