Albany State adds 19 on 2022 signing day

From Albany State Athletics:

Albany State Coach Gabe Giardina on the 2022 class:

I am very excited to announce 19 new FAMILY members to our Albany State football family. I would like to personally thank our coaches and their families for the effort they have put into signing such a talented collection of young men.  We have continued to find our type of guys that recognize how special and how hard it is to be a Golden Ram.  These are not only guys who jump off the tape but men who are leaders and competitors at their respective schools.  The future is bright and this group has been recruited over the last twelve months and has a chance to be very special.   We continue to create competition and depth on a team that returns 18 of 22 starters and won the 2021 SIAC Conference Championship.

I am very thankful to an outstanding group of professors and administrators that met with all these young men on their official visits.  We recruit as a whole university, and I can say with without hesitation that the Albany State community really blew these families away with their passion for seeing these young men as student athletes that will do great things in the classroom and on the field.
