Jackson State’s Robert McDaniel named to Shrine Bowl 1000 List

Courtesy of Jackson State Athletics Jackson State senior defensive back Robert McDaniel was recognized by the East-West Shrine Bowl, being named to the Shrine Bowl 1000. The list recognizes the top 1,000 seniors heading into the 2024 season. McDaniel, a transfer from Alcorn State, totaled 30 tackles for the Braves as a defensive back in 2023 with 21 solo stops. He also recorded a pair of tackles for loss. McDaniel accounted for six turnovers last season causing three fumbles and was among the league leaders with three interceptions. Initially I was down on the aesthetic of the AE 2, however after seeing the images of the royal colorway my stance on the silhouette started to soften.  Though Caitlin Clark is garnering the lion’s share, some would say far too much, of the media attention this WNBA season, fellow rookie Angel Reese is having an impressive season. PE Corner: Caitlin Clark wore these Kobe VI Protro at WNBA All-Star practice

At WNBA All-Star practice, Caitlin Clark, the most polarizing basketball player this side of LeBron James, broke out a yet-to-be-seen PE of the Kobe VI Protro.  They sport a pink scaled upper adorned on the sides with green Swooshes. This upcoming Nike Dunk Low sports a mesh foundational layer overlaid with mink. Down leather at the toe, eye rows and wrapping the lower heel. Anthracite Swooshes adorn the sides, An unexpected blue shows up on the branding present on the tongue, rear heel and insoles. Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a light sail midsole and brown rubber outsole.
