From ESPN: The NFL has stripped the Miami Dolphins of two draft picks, including their 2023 first-round selection, and suspended owner Stephen Ross and fined him $1.5 million after an investigation into alleged violations of league policies related to the integrity of the game. In addition to the first-round pick, the Dolphins also will forfeit their 2024 third-round selection. Baker Mayfield to be traded to Carolina Panthers

Mayfield is being traded to the Carolina Panthers for a fifth-round draft pick that can improve with play markers, league sources confirmed to Yahoo Sports on Wednesday. The Panthers later confirmed the trade on Twitter. This ends a contentious rift between Mayfield and the Browns following their pursuit of Deshaun Watson earlier this offseason. Former Dallas Cowboys RB Marion Barber passes away at age 38

Sad news out of Frisco, Texas. From Fox Sports: Former Dallas Cowboys running back Marion Barber was found dead in his apartment by police in Frisco, Texas, on Wednesday, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported and the team later confirmed in a statement. He was 38. “Officers are currently out on a welfare concern, but we are unable to provide any further information at this time,” a Frisco police spokesperson told the Star-Telegram, noting the cause of Barber’s death is unknown.
