Nike and Ja Morant officially introduce the Ja 2

We have been highlighting, in various stages of production, images of the upcoming Nike Ja 2. Yesterday Nike officially introduced the world as the sophomore sneaker of the Memphis Grizzlies star guard.  The advertisement captioned “When No One is Watching, I Get Up”, the still form which depicts a still of Morant flying through the air, presmably to bring down a thunderous dunk on a hapless defender. PE Corner: Take a closer look at the “Murray State HOF” Nike Ja 2 PE

If you read our article on Memphis Grizzlies star guard Ja Morant being inducted into the Hall of Fame of his alma mater, Murray State, then you saw these in the special package that Nike made in commemoration of the momentous occasion. They sport a double mesh upper with a claw scratch aesthetic seen on both levels of the mesh. A better look at the “Stargazer” Nike Ja 2

A set of images has emerged of the “Stargazer” Nike Ja 2.  This celestial-inspired colorway sports a violet mesh at the toe overlaid with leather of the same hue at the toe and eye stay. Azure and yellow Swooshes on the lateral side of the right and left shoe, respectively are surrounded by a concentric pattern, while the colors are reversed for the smaller and embroidered branding on the mesh medial sides. An initial look at the “Halloween” Nike Ja 2

Images of a new colorway of the upcoming Nike Ja 2 have come to light. This Halloween-themed Ja 2 sports a combination mesh, suede and synthetic red upper. The golden Swoosh resides on a side panel that features a claw scratch aesthetic, while smaller embroidered branding resides on the medial side. A new colorway the yet-to-be-released Nike Ja 2 has emerged.  It sports blue leather at its upper, underlaid at the toe with black mesh. On the majority of the medial side lives a patterned red mesh with a sculpted collar and black Swoosh.  The black Swoosh on the lateral side is surrounded by a near-concentric pattern, while under the ribbed white rear heel appears “12 AM.” Underneath the aforementioned upper resides a white midsole with a Ja logo on the rear heel, while on the medial side reads “Kaari”, “Teniya”,…

An image of a new colorway for the next signature shoe for Ja Morant, the Ja 2.  The new color sports a magenta leather upper underlaid with a mesh of the same hue. The ribbed side panel is home to a teal Swoosh; reportedly, the Swooshes on the left and right shoe will featured a different hue. Several “teaser” images of the upcoming Ja 2 recently came to light. Although none of them offer a complete visual of the sneaker, what can be seen is a partial shot of the lateral side of the white and black upper. Though their namesake seemed to be on self destructive path to derail them, the release of the Nike Ja 1 was a successful, as the silhouette was very well-received.
