With all the attention turned toward the Jordan holiday lineup and a very robust release roster, it can be easy to overlook other quality release  from the orange clad company in Beaverton . Initial images of the “Year of the Snake” have come to light. This upcoming Kobe V Protro, which fans of the man and/or his sneakers will unfortunately be frozen out of by the Kobe death profiteers, sports a purple fused upper with black mesh wrapping the heel. Nike CEO John Donahoe to step down

Courtesy of Gabrielle Fonrouge and Jessica Golden, cnbc.com Nike on Thursday announced that its CEO John Donahoe is stepping down and company veteran Elliott Hill is coming out of retirement to take the helm of the sneaker giant. Donahoe, who has been Nike’s CEO since Jan. 2020, will retire from his position on Oct. 13. Hill is slated to take over on the following day. Donahoe will stay on as an advisor through the end of January. Shares climbed 8% in extended trading Thursday. As of the close, shares are down…

Since its inception on the KD IV, the “Aunt Pearl” colorway has become a foundational, reoccurring theme, with an interaction of the commemorative colorway making an appearance on each subsequent model. In the Indiana Fever’s highly anticipated game with the Chicago Sky, Caitlin Clark broke out a new Kobe VI Protro PE. This upcoming iteration of the Air 180 sports a black textile foundational layer overlaid with suede of the same hue. Alabaster leather Swooshes adorn the lateral and medial sides.
