This NBA free agency period has been action-packed, to say the least. Hot on the heels of the news of Kawhi Leonard agreeing to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, there is now news that Paul George will be joining him. Nike is adding to an already full dance card of releases for the beginning of July with this new colorway of the PG 3.  It sports an university red upper composed of both mesh and leather with with a black tongue, collar and medial swoosh branding. Underneath this upper is a white midsole with a red lateral swoosh and 93352 zip code at the forefoot. Russell Westbrook and Paul George both have offseason surgeries, George to miss start of training camp

According to a report from Maddie Lee of the Oklahoman, the Oklahoma City Thunder announced that forward Paul George will at least miss the start of training camp after undergoing surgery to repair a partially torn tendon in his right shoulder. It was initially reported by ESPN’s Royce Young and Adrian Wojnarowski. When we initially covered the upcoming “Mamba Mentality” Nike PG 3, which is a special edition of George’s third signature model that is in commemoration of Mamba Day 2019, there were not any images of the sneaker. Nike will be releasing an edition of their PG 3 basketball shoe to celebrate Mamba Day. Although there are no images of the shoe currently available what is known is that it will make use of an multi color and optional yellow color palette.
