Texas coach Chris Beard arrested on assault charges

Early Monday morning, Texas men’s basketball head coach Chris Beard was arrested and charged with assault on a family member. Police responded to a “disturbance-urgent” call at a 2:07 a.m Monday morning. According to the Travis County Sherriff’s Office website, Beard was booked at 4:18 am.
