Courtesy of Tennessee State Athletics BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The 2022-2023 Ohio Valley Conference women’s basketball preseason coaches poll was announced by the league on Tuesday morning, and third-year head coach Ty Evans‘s team was slotted fifth in the 10-team ranking. Sophomore guard Gia Adams was named to the All-OVC Preseason team. The Lady Tigers received 95 total points and one first-place vote in the preseason ranking that was voted on by the league’s head coaches and sports information directors. The 29-game slate features 18 Ohio Valley Conference matchups and features non-conference matchups with Kansas City, Butler, Omaha, Stetson, Baylor, and others. Via Tennessee State University Athletics The Tennessee State men’s basketball team announces the signing of Learic Davis, a three-star prospect out of Milwaukee, WI. The 6’7″ guard played at Milwaukee Bradley Tech under coach Shon Haralson, leading the Trojans to a 17-6 record and a conference championship.
