Jr. Clay named OVC Co-Player of the Week

Courtesy of Tennessee State Athletics Tennessee State men’s basketball graduate student Jr. Clay was named the OVC Co-Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday.  On Saturday, Clay became the 20th OVC’s 2,000-Point Club member last week, hitting the mark with a 33-point performance at Little Rock on Saturday. Tennessee State women’s hoops matchup versus Lindenwood cancelled

Courtesy of Tennessee State Athletics: Due to a cancelation from Lindenwood, the Tennessee State women’s basketball game on Saturday, Jan. 28 has been deemed a no-contest in favor of the Tigers. The game will not be made up due to Lindenwood not having enough available players. With the cancelation, the men’s basketball contest will now be played at 2 PM at the Gentry Center.
