Courtesy of Tuskegee Athletics TUSKEGEE, Ala. â€“ Head Coach Trelanne Powell and her program will officially open their 2022-23 regular season schedule on Friday, as they compete in the Gulf South-SIAC Crossover over the weekend, held in Cleveland, Miss. The Golden Tigers will battle a pair of non-conference opponents in host school Delta State on Friday evening, followed by a matchup with Mississippi College on Saturday afternoon, both in the Walter Sillers Coliseum. Courtesy of the SIAC Redshirt senior forward Ashiala Jackson of Tuskegee has been voted the 2022 Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Preseason Player of the Year alongside teammate JuToreyia Willis who is a graduate student at Tuskegee, has earned the Preseason Defensive Player of the Year selection, announced Wednesday by the league office.
