Albany State basketball to face off with Tuskegee

Courtesy of Dr. Earnest Brown, Albany State Atheltics The Albany State Golden Rams men and women’s basketball teams will play the Tuskegee Golden Tigers at the Daniel “Chappie” James Center on Monday, November 28, in Tuskegee, Alabama.  The women will start at 5:30 pm and the men will begin at approximately 7:30 pm. The Golden Rams women’s team is (3-2) overall and (1-0) in the SIAC.  The Golden Tigers are (4-1) overall and (2-0) in the conference.  The Golden Tigers only loss this season was to the Golden Rams on Tuesday,…

Courtesy of Dr. Earnest Brown, Albany State Athletics In front of a raucous crowd at the Jones Brothers Health, Physical Education & Recreation Complex, the Albany State Golden Rams women’s basketball team stunned the preseason #1 Tuskegee Golden Tigers from the SIAC West Division (68-60).  With the win, the Golden Rams improved to (2-1) overall while the Tuskegee Golden Tigers fell to (2-1).  Both teams remain (0-0) in the SIAC because the game was not considered a conference contest. The game remained close from the opening tip to the final horn. …
