Tennessee State wide receiver JJ Holloman has accepted an invitation to take part in this year’s HBCU Legacy Bowl, according to a tweet from the game Friday afternoon.
The Covington, Georgia native caught 33 passes for 353 yards and 1 touchdown in his lone season at Tennessee State. Prior to that , Holloman spent his first two collegiate seasons, 2017 and 2018, at the University of Georgia, being recruited as the #15 -ranked wide receiver in the nation. He appeared in 19 games for the Bulldogs, hauling in 19 passes for 425 yards and 5 touchdowns. Holloman then spent a season at Florida International, appearing in four games in which he caught 4 passes for 108 yards and 1 touchdown,
The HBCU Legacy Bowl airs Saturday, February 25, 2023. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:00 PM EST.
