Trophy Room, to no one’s surprise, received the opportunity to collaborate on another Air Jordan model, with the Air Jordan 7 serving as their latest their latest canvas
Inspired by the 1992 Olympics held in Barcelona, Spain, it sports a true red suede foundational layer overlaid with that of white.
On the lateral ankle a metallic Jumpman has its home, with MJ’s signature stamped on the lateral heel. On the rear heel is metallic gold Trophy Room branding with the colors of the Olympics on the rear pull tab.
On the inner reads “New sheriff in town” , alluding to the line that Jordan hit Magic and Larry Bird when they were in Barcelona as well as “Monte Carlo” and “1992”, referencing the pratice location of the Dream Team and Olympic year.
Underneath resides the same midsole that can be seen on the Olympic 7, with special co-branded packaging and clipboard round out this release.
The Trophy Room x Air Jordan 7 is going to release November 3 via a Trophy Room raffle; hopefully for all interested in this sneaker the “distribution issues” that marred Trophy Room’s last release will not rear their ugly heads.
