FOOD LION MEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#22 Jordan Camper, Lincoln (PA)
(Sr, 6-8 Center – Chester, PA)
Camper averaged 21.5 points and 12 rebounds while shooting 75 percent from the field (21-for-28) over two games to open the season. The Chester, PA native had his best performance of the week in Lincoln’s 82-74 win over Kutztown, putting up 26 points on 13-of-16 shooting (81 percent), 13 rebounds, and two blocks. Camper totaled three blocks, one assist, and a steal as the Lions finished 1-1 in the CIAA/PSAC Challenge.
FOOD LION MEN’S DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#5 Christopher Hill, Saint Augustine’s
(Jr, 6-0 Guard – Charlotte, NC)
Hill registered six steals and six defensive boards (seven total rebounds) in SAU’s two games over the weekend. The 6-0 guard from Charlotte, NC also totaled 13 points and six assists for the Falcons. Hill is averaging a CIAA-best three steals per game after the first week of the season.
FOOD LION MEN’S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
#32 Dajour Rucker, Virginia State (Fr, 6-7 Forward – Virginia Beach, VA)
Rucker finished the week averaging 10 points and 7.5 rebounds and shot 53 percent from the field in two games, including a 14-point, nine-rebound performance in Virginia State’s 101-73 win over Mansfield University. The Virginia Beach, VA native helped the Trojans finish 2-0 at the Trojan Tip-Off Classic that also included a 85-75 win over Shippensburg.
FOOD LION WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
#1 Aniylah Bryant, Fayetteville State
(So, 5-7 Guard – Havelock, NC)
Bryant opened the season by averaging 22 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest while shooting 57 percent from the field in FSU’s first two games of the season. The 5-7 guard registered 21 points and five rebounds in the Broncos 88-54 win over Notre Dame College (OH). Bryant also contributed five assists and five steals on the week and currently leads conference in scoring after the first week of action.

#22 Naterria Luster, Elizabeth City State
(Sr, 5-11 Forward – Richmond, VA)
Luster grabbed 12 defensive boards (13 total rebounds) with four steals and one block on the defensive end over two games. The senior from Richmond, VA also totaled 38 points (19 ppg) to lead ECSU in scoring and rebounding for the week. Luster and the Vikings went 2-0 in the CIAA/SIAC Challenge with wins over Albany State and Clark Atlanta, holding their opponents to a CIAA-best 52 points per game after the opening week of the season.

#1 Ciara Harris, Johnson C. Smith
(Fr, 5-8 Guard – Alexandria, VA)
Harris led JCSU in scoring and rebounding at the CIAA/SIAC Challege, averaging 14 points and seven rebounds over two games. The 5-8 guard from Alexandria, VA connected on six of 11 three-pointers (55 percent) over the week, helping the Golden Bulls to a 2-0 record with wins over Clark Atlanta and Albany State.
