Howard wide receiver Jequez Ezzard was selected as the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Offensive Player of the Week, the conference announced today. Morgan State’s Ian McBorrough was named Defensive Player of the Week while Bethune-Cooknan’s L’Dre Barnes received Offensive Lineman of the Week honors. Florida A&M defensive back Herman Jackson was tabbed Rookie of the Week while North Carolina A&T State’s Malik Wilson and Howard’s Faraji Joseph were named Co-Specialists of the Week.

Ezzard made history with his second consecutive three-touchdown contest in the win over Delaware State. He became the first Howard student-athlete to achieve that feat as he also caught four receptions for 191 yards which also included a 78-yard touchdown reception.
