“Space Jam” Lebron 17 Pack coming NBA All-Star Weekend

Regrettably, Space Jam 2 is a thing, and in commemorating the movie, Nike Basketball is dropping a “Space Jam” Lebron 17 Pack during this year’s NBA All-Star Weekend. The pack will consist of a “Monstars” version of the 17 and a “Toon Squad” Lebron 17 Low. The “Monstars” colorway is scheduled to release on February 14 with the “Toon Squad” releasing the next day on the 15th. Nike Basketball unveils 2020 Black History Month PEs

Nike Basketball has unveiled several PE’s for Black History Month. The grouping consists of the KD 12, Kyrie 6 , Lebron 17, PG 4 and the Zoom Freak 1. Each shoe is inspired by the street styles of the early 1990’s and African culture ( whatever that means). As these are PEs, a retail release seems unlikely, but these shoes will grace NBA courts, beginning January 20.

Kristaps Porzingis to miss tenth straight game

The Dallas Mavericks will be without Kristaps Porzingis for a tenth consecutive game. According to ESPN’s Tim MacMahon, right knee soreness is the culprit that is keeping the big man out of the Dallas lineup once more. Dallas has went 5-4 in his absence.

Boomers squad named for FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers

The Boomers face New Zealand in Brisbane at Nissan Arena on February 20 before playing away to Hong Kong in their second game on February 23. NBL to hold first-ever Indigenous Round

From nbl.com.au: The Hungry Jack’s National Basketball League (NBL) will stage its inaugural Indigenous Round from January 29-February 2.  The round will recognise and acknowledge Indigenous culture and basketball across Australia and New Zealand.
