Kings reportedly agree to one year deal with Hassan Whiteside

from Tyler Conway of B/R: Hassan Whiteside and the Sacramento Kingsagreed to a one-year contract Wednesday, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. Jason Anderson of the Sacramento Bee reported the deal will be for the veteran’s minimum, which will put Whiteside’s salary at $2.32 million for 2020-21. Whiteside spent last season in Portland after being traded by the Miami Heat, averaging 16.3 points, 14.2 rebounds and 3.1 blocks per game. Klay Thompson has successful surgery on Achilles

According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thomspson underwent a successful procedure to repair his ruptured Achilles’ tendon. While the injury suffered by Thompson is an abominable turn of events for both he personally and the Warriors, we, like the rest of the basketball world, are wising Klay a speedy recovery and look forward with great anticipation to the day when the Splash Brothers will be made whole once more.

Indianapolis’ NBA All-Star Weekend postponed to 2024

From nba.com: NEW YORK — The NBA and the Indiana Pacers announced today that NBA All-Star in Indianapolis, which was originally scheduled for Feb. 12-14, 2021, will now be held Feb. 16-18, 2024.  Public health conditions prevented the Pacers, the NBA All-Star Host Committee and the NBA from appropriately planning and executing fan-focused All-Star activities in Indianapolis that were envisioned for this February. Ravens-Steelers game moved to Sunday

Wednesday the National Football League announced that the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers game that was initially set to be played on Thanksgiving has now been pushed back to Sunday. The League had this to say in a statement: “This decision was made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel and in consultation with medical experts,”  The NFL has had to move several games around this season due to COVID-19 concerns and positive tests and this Steelers-Ravens game…
