Dejonte Murray fined $20,000 by NBA

Wednesday the NBA announced that the league issued San Antonio Spurs guard DeJonte Murray a $20,000 fine for throwing the game ball off a referee. The incident occurred during the Spurs and Grizzlies game on February 28. The incident occurred with about two-and-a-hlaf minutes to go in the game after a call, which Murray didn’t like , he half-chucked the ball in direction of one official lower leg, which it made contact with. Devin Booker enters health and safety protocols

Phoenix Suns All-Star guard Devin Booker has entered the NBA’s health and safety protocols, according to The Athletic ans Stadium’s Shams Charania. This means the Suns will be without their starting backcourt, as point guard Chris Paul, who is expected to be out for 6-8 weeks with an avulsion fracture in his right thumb. This will be Booker’s second tour in the health and safety protocols; he missed media day and the start of training camp in September for the same reason.

That’s because the NBA handed the Pacers’ forward/center a $20,000 for ”directing profane language toward a game official” for an incident that occurred in the third quarter of the Pacers February 28 game against the Orlando Magic.
