Former Jackson State Receiver D.D. Bowie Killed in Mississippi Shooting at 27

Bowie was one of Mississippi’s most highly regarded football prospects coming out of Morton High School. A former U.S. Army All-American, he began his collegiate career with the Ole Miss before later transferring to Jackson State .
