Alabama State University’s Colton Adams, Kisean Johnson and Mikey Victor were named the FCS Football Central All-American teams on Wednesday, December 13, 2023.
FCS Football Central was formed through an agreement through a partnership between The Bluebloods and Sports Illustrated/FanNation.
Adams earned his way on to the FCS Football Central Second Team, while Johnson and Victory represent Alabama State as Third-Team selections.
Adams, who adds the honor to his First-Team All-SWAC selection, led the Hornet with 124 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and had four sacks. The Wetumpka, Ala., native leads the SWAC and ranks sixth in the FSC with 11.4 tackles per while ranking third in the SWAC and 10th in FCS with 5.2 tackles for loss per game.
Johnson, who is a was the top target for Hornet signal callers this season. Johnson led the SWAC in receiving yards (819/24th FCS), receiving yards per game (81.9/18th FCS), receptions per game (6.2/15th FSC) and receiving touchdowns (7). The Birmingham, Ala., native also ranked fourth in the SWAC scoring (4.8 ppg.) and fourth in total touchdowns (8).
Victor adds to his list of honors that includes an Aeneas Williams Award finalist and a All-SWAC Second-Team honors. Victor led the SWAC and ranked second in the FCS with 1.7 passes defended per game. He totaled 36 tackles and led the SWAC with 15 passes defended 13 passes defection, and two interceptions.
