Monday the Albany State University men’s basketball is taking on Florida A&M in an exhibition game.
The Golden Rams have stumbled out of the gates 0-4, getting boatraced by a combined 61 points in their first two games, which took place in the SIAC/Gulf South Challenge with an 80-50 loss to Mississippi College and an 87-56 beatdown courtesy of West Alabama.
Coach Patrick Gayle’s team limped into the he 2022 ATL Has Something to Say HBCU Challenge taking losses to the CIAA’s Virginia Union (78-73) and Livingstone College (63-59).
The success of the football team has spilled over to the Florida A&M basketball team, as they too find themselves winless. They haven’t looked good losing their four games by an average of 28.75 points, with losses at the hands of Oregon (80-45), the University of Portland (91-54), Oregon State (60-43) and the University of Miami (87-61).
The Golden Rams and the Rattlers last got it on a little over 5 years ago, November 17, 2017; the snakes came away with a 77-59 win.
