The Golden Tigers had points removed from the scoreboard with 22 seconds left to play in the first half when Deramus connected with Steven Hodges, who hauled in a catch between two defenders. The play was negated by a holding call, leaving the score 14-0 at the half.

ASU broke things open late in the third quarter after Javon Wooten connected with Dionte Bonneau on a nine-yard touchdown pass to round out the scoring at 21-0.
